- Microscopic Description
- Direct Immunofluorescence panel screen: IgG, IgM, IgA, C1q, C3, Fibrinogen, Kappa & Lambda. HLA-DR, C3d, C4d performed on select cases
- Specimen: Tissues-Biopsies of Heart, Conjunctiva, Bone Marrow, Gastrointestinal tract, Oral Mucosa, Liver, Lung, Skin, Muscle, Nerve, Tumors, Tissue Culture, Blood (Plain Red AND Lavender Top Tube) or other specimens requiring immunofluorescence studies with histopathology.
- Container: Sterile container, Michel's Transport Media
- Storage: Technologist will pick up biopsy as scheduled. See Special Instructions above. Specimen may be held overnight in appropriate fixative.
