Transfer to a plastic tube within 1 hr of collection.
Shipping/Handling Instructions:
On-campus collections: Tube to 99 or deliver to University Extension Hospital Room EH318. Serum should be transferred from cells within 1 hour of collection and transferred to a plastic transport tube. Send Frozen.
Off-campus collections: Centrifuge and aliquot within 1 hours. Specimen to be stored/transported at Frozen temp.
Reject due to Grossly lipemic specimens.
