Flow cytometric quantitation of CD45, CD25, CD11c, CD19 and CD103.

Collection:

Specimen:    Blood, Bone Marrow, Fluid (including CSF, ascites, pleural fluid, fine needle aspirations and other body fluids) and Tissue.

Container: Blood or bone marrow – Yellow Top Tube (ACD) (Preferred). A lavender tube is an acceptable alternative for Test Adds on specimens < 24 hours old.

Tissue- Sterile cup containing RPMI medium.

CSF- CSF tube

Fluid- Sterile Container

Volume:   Blood – 8.5 mL (Minimum 1.5 mL); Bone Marrow – 2 mL (Minimum 0.5 mL)

Fluid- 10ml (Minimum 2ml)

Storage Instructions:

Send specimen to Lab as soon as possible after collection or refrigerate.

Turnaround Time (TAT):

Routine: 72 Hours

Stat: 24 Hours (Stat Testing must be approved by the pathologist)
