Special instructions: Testing is performed at Esoterix Endocrinology Laboratory: ES#500262.
Processing Instructions:
Serum or plasma must be separated from cells and transferred to a plastic transport tube within one hour of collection. The specimen should be frozen immediately and maintained frozen until tested. To avoid delays in turnaround time when requesting multiple tests on frozen samples, please submit separate frozen specimens for each test requested.
Shipping/Handling Instructions:
On-campus collections: Tube to 99 or deliver to University Extension Hospital Room EH318
Off-campus collections: Centrifuge and aliquot within 1 hour. Do not share aliquot with other tests.Specimen to be stored/transported frozen.
