Collection:

Specimen: Blood

Container: Collect one DARK GREEN Lithium Heparin tube NO GEL.

Volume: 6mL; Minimum 5mL

Storage/Transport Temperature:

Specimen must be refrigerated within 3 hours after blood collection. Specimen may be refrigerated for up to 48 hours. 

Turnaround Time (TAT):

Average TAT is 3 Days.  See more details in 'Test Availability.' 

Test Availability:

Test is ran Tuesday-Sunday. 

Samples recieved before 10am will be processed into 4 QuantiFERON tubes that day.  Samples must then incubated for 16-24 hours.  Average Turn Around Time is 3 days.
