Notes:
Testing must be performed within 24 hours of collection.
Do not collect specimens on Saturday or Sunday.
If collected on Fridays, it is preferred for specimens to be in lab by 4:00pm.
Call Lab Client Services at 792-0707 if special arrangements are required.

Specimen: Blood
Container: Lavender Top Tube.
Specimen Volume: Minimum 1 mL (tube)
Pediatric Collection:
One Lavender microtainer filled to 500 uL (Minimum 250 uL).
Storage Instructions:
Send to lab as soon as possible after collection.
Storage: Room Temperature.
Turnaround Time (TAT):
24 Hours
Test Availability:
Monday – Friday, 7:30am- 5:00pm
Specimen Stability:
24 hours at Room Temperature
